EPP110 PHYSICAL
SYSTEM DESIGN LAB.
General Instructions
- The
lab. Time will be 1 to 5 PM. You
must be punctual and spend your entire allotted time in the lab.
- In all
you have to complete 7 experiments during the semester.
- You
are all aware that 75% attendance is required in the lab failing which you
will be awarded F Grade.
- You
must handle all the equipment with care and read instructions before
putting your hand on it. For any
technical difficulty with the equipment and precaution in handling the
instrument you should consult Mr.M.S.Murali.
- Before
starting new experiment you must consult the Faculty assigned for that
experiment. Take his
help in understanding the experiment and its objective.
- You
will perform experiment as per the allotment. The allotted experiment must be completed in the prescribed
time. If you fail to complete the
experiment in the allotted time for any reason, you may come to the lab in
free hours with the prior written permission of the concerned
Faculty/Coordinator.
- It is
your responsibility to see your next experiment allotment and come
prepared. Bring an auxiliary Note
Book for taking day-to-day reading and get your reading checked before you
leave the lab.
- The
Handouts describing the experiments are available in the lab. But you are
encouraged to collect further reading material from the library or
Internet.
- The
Lab report of the completed experiment must be submitted within a week to
Mr.Rajinder Singh in the lab. No
experiment will be allotted if the Lab Report of the previously completed
experiment has not been submitted. Your corrected Lab Report will remain in the Lab and will be
given to your prior to the Lab Test at the end of the semester.
- Each
student from a group is expected to take active interest in taking reading
and understanding the experiment. Each
student must write his own independent discussion and interpretation of
the experimental results in his/her Lab Report.
- If one
of the students is absent, he/she must perform the experiment independently
at a later date. He/she cannot
take his/her paratner’s reading.
- All
of you are expected to maintain discipline in the Lab and should not
indulge in copying experimental reading.
If found guilty of copying or submitting fabricatred data you will
be given Zero in day to day work in the Lab for the entire
semester.
