40 | Comments | Great all around car. The 73 basic odd ball year is the best riding and handling car. With the motor tranny combo not affraid of driving accross country. Do make weekend trips of 200-300 mile trips. This car (of the 3 VW's i've built is the best all around performer) rules the road. Not afraid to take any one on from porsches to lamborghinis. Real good tourqe down low and revs high(shift at 7800 rpm). Narrowed the front beam to fit tires under fender and handles great. Have KONI shocks all around. |
