Lean  Not  On  Your  Own  Understanding

 

 

Sometimes we feel we have suffered beyond the

"limit"; we deserve rewards for enduring,etc.

 

All these thoughts arise when we look at circumstances from a human viewpoint.

 

There was a little boy who

was fascinated by the Measurement chapter at school.At

home,he was measuring everything around him.

 

Then he ran to the kitchen shouting, “Hey, mom! I'm 9 feet

tall!” “Oh,really?”, asked mom,”Show me how you measured

yourself!”

 

Mom laughed when she saw that her little son had made

HIS OWN SCALE!

 

Similarly, we humans, make the mistake of measuring

Ourselves (good, bad,etc.) in our own standards.The human eye looks on our

success with pride, & sees Gods training to us as

Injustice!

 

Proverbs 3:5 advises against this habit of leaning on

OUR OWN SCALE!

 

We are to trust in God, whatever happens!
