It is not known whether Erich was a native of Freudenberg, or whether he migrated there from a neighboring province.� The name of his wife is not known.� Erich was apparently very popular with the people of Freudenberg, and undoubtedly very capable, since he served as the Village Mayor for over 25 years.� As Mayor he also had the responsibility of Chief Justice of the village.

Johan was probably born in Freudenberg, Germany.� The name of his wife is not known.� He was trained by his father to assume the administrative and judicial functions of Village Mayor, which he did after his father's death.� He served as Mayor of Freudenberg from 1614 until his death in 1624.
