1. Hang Glider dynamics corrected allowing real steep banks.
   a spin will usually follow rather than tucking.

   is allows screen captures on any PC, the window size is
   determined by available video memory, so if you don't get a full
   screen at 1024x768 switch screen mode to 800x600.

4. mouse cursors reflect the mode of operation - control, view etc..

   it is recommended to view it from chase view !

This Demo actually is the real thing, hoever some
features were disabled in it:

* Demo time is limited to 15 minutes of flight time.

* Only one type of Hang Glider is available.

* Only one scenery can be chosen.

however, this game offers many advanced features that
also exist in the retail version, these include:

* A highly realistic flight model designed and tested
  by an aeronatical angineer which is also a pilot of
  hang gliders and conventional aircraft.

* A very detailed true to life scenry which is based upon
  aerial photography and digital topography combined.

* This simulator makes use of advanced graphic 3d acceleration
  and sound mixing through the use of DirectX 5.0 .

* Full support for the latest 3D graphic accelerators and future
  ones through maximum use of resources available.

* Advanced Day/Night lighting , Fog , texture belnding , Z buffering
  and a unique method for mipmapping.

* Unparralelled Ground and wind effect, in this simulation you start
  with a constant wind coming from the east , try to catch the ridge
  effect ! (try it again in accelerated time !).

* Advanced yet easy to use virtual cockpit, allowing 360 deg
  look aroung while manuevering the glider.


Controls the Keys:
------------------

This simulation is currently controlled by the mouse,
the reason for that is that in a Hang Glider the controlls
are actually reversed - pushing the control bar forwards
will actuall put you in a climb and not in a dive as you
would expect in a conventional aircraft.

If one is accustomed to flying conventional aircraft of even
simulators it could be extremely disorienting to use the joystick
in this manner, so i have chosen to use the mouse for now.

Furthermore, the mouse movement seems to conform with one's actual
control input when the hands are placed on the actual control bar
and this gives a true to life sensation.

Space Bar - toggle running on the ground.

Additional Features:
--------------------

The application can be launched in windowd mode or fullscreen
this parameter can be set in [index.txt] file.

As you can feel, there is a constant wind coming from the east,
at a constant 10 m/sec, this causes quit a dramatic ridge effect.
especially noticable while increasing simulation rate.

wind direction and velocity can be manually changed by editing
the parameter file [index.txt].

This simulation is built to expand , therefore sceneries , Gliders
and sounds were all kept in an open format .
Full Description of this format Will Follow in the near future
thus allowing Simmers to customize this simulation and even create 
their own private fantasies.

In the mean time various parameters, such as initial window size,
clouds on/off , and more can be changed using the files in the data
directory :

index.txt - general parameter file, contains various parameters that
            can be changed manually , in the the final application
            would be controlled by wrapper program.

further detailes will follow in the near future..
