Green
Lush green shrouds my dark little mind water spiders dance over its surface reflections hide its depth. Leaves rustle as branches sway wild wind in torrents pverhead clouds race the sky. Beneath the canopy all is stillness the fertile pause before birth. ~E.C. 6/18/2001
Icing
I watch it all go wrong and fall away all the beauty and joy how I wanted it to stay unrecoverable resign the current siuation future unfathomable like melting icing too sweet to be substantial ~E.C. 5/4/2000
History
the lips that once kissed me so gently now deconstruct everything around me the words that once lifted my soul to the very heights of heaven now like a stone sink me to the darkest pits of hell you who hold them both you say you will never leave me now all I want is to be free from this cell I wear the marks of persecution on the body you once caressed the light that once shown from these eyes has long since died I have picked up all the clothes from the place that for you I undressed the bed where we came is now the bed where I cried all that is left now is for you to leave still you stay in this misery that you love me I no longer believe my tears have dried like you... they are my history. ~E.C. 5/4/2000
