UPDATES
3/20/05 - Shadow of the Giant is out!  Make sure to go and grab yourself a copy!!!!

2/7/05 -
All right, I've decided to do some major work to the Quotes page.  All quotes are now on a single page with a new background and everything.  I'm working at getting them all in chronological order and finding precise page numbers.  You'll notice there are four that I'm having trouble locating specifically.  If you happen to know where they are, drop me an e-mail.

9/25/04 -
Hey, if you haven't checked out Hatrack River before (Orson Scott Card's official web site) do it now!  They're bringing back all the Dragon Army merchandise.  Show your Ender's Game pride and wear some Dragon!

9/9/04 -
Right now, I'm pretty much just going through and fixing little typos and other errors here and there on the site.  Many thanks to Jenny for proofing the whole thing.  Soon to come, though: I'm going to add a section all about the armies.  All of the different ones at the school (those we know about, of course), who commands them, their colors, etc.  Should be fun.  And I'll start working on characters again sometime as well.

7/8/04 -
I've started getting active on the forums at Hatrack River and The Philotic Web.  If you aren't a member of these, get involved!  There's a lot of great discussion going on .  Around here, I'm just fixing up some old problems with a few of the pages.  Later this summer, I'll get back to actively working on the character pages and other things.

2/20/04 -
Today I briefly updated the "Links" section of this page, so that now there are not only links to other Ender's Game fan sites, but also to pages with random Ender referencs (such as the current cartoon).

- Okay, it's been a while since I've updated my site.  Recently, I added a guestbook (which I would like everyone to sign!) and the movie updates page (muy importante).  If you have any comments or questions, feel free to e-mail me.

- Woohoo!  This Saturday Orson Scott Card came to Portland, Oregon and signed books!  (See previous entry.)  Needless to say, I was there, and it was a great experience.  Mr. Card was very nice and professional, and would sign anything that people brought with them.  Unfortunately, this caused a major delay in the line, because some people brought bags upon bags of books for him to sign...but no matter, because so did I!  I brought almost all of my books (only realizing at the last moment that I had left some in my dorm) and he very generously signed them all, personalizing four of them.  I want to thank Mr. Card for his generosity and kindness, and encourage anyone who would like to meet him to go to one of these signings!  Check out Hatrack River for times and locations!

Well, here I am again with some really important news.  I live in Oregon.  No, that's not the important news.  But it is relevant, because nothing exciting ever happens in Oregon.  The place, while very beautiful, is practically dead when it comes to anything like what I am about to mention.  Next month, on November 15, Orson Scott Card is coming here.  That's right, to Portland, Oregon.  He's going to be doing some book signings for his new release, The Crystal City.  He will be at Powell's Bookstore in Beaverton at 2:00 PM and then again at the Borders on Mowhawk at 7:00 PM.  I don't know if he will be signing anything other than his new book, but I hope so!!  Anyway, I will be there, along with some of my cohorts, and maybe I'll get some pictures to put on this site!

Wow.  Its been quite a while since Ive done anything to this page, but with good reason.  I was finishing up with high school, for one thing, and right now Im on a 58-day tour of Europe.  I dont exactly have much time to be working on the site.  However, do not fear, I wont abandon it.  And while in Europe, one of my main goals is to collect as many copies of Enders Game as possible, in as many different languages.  Prior to this, I was only in posession of two copies of the book, the original American cover and the collected Enders Game and Speaker for the Dead.  However, I now own the very boring white British cover, the very cool silver British youth cover, and a Spanish edition (which I had been unable to find).  I hope to come home also with a version in French, Italian, and German. Ill make it my lifes pursuit.

4/25/03 - Well, I thought I was done with the "Book Covers" section.  I should have known better.  There are now even more (mostly new British editions) on that page and many of the smaller ones I originally had have been enlarged.  Also, I have gone through the non-"Book Cover" pages (Characters, What Is Ender's Game, etc.) and messed around with the covers there.  Of course, the whole process would be a lot more fun if Geocities stopped bumping me off every five minutes...

4/24/03 - Last night (though I guess it was technically this morning) I did a complete overhaul on my "Book Covers" page.  I urge everyone to look at this section!  Many of the covers are courtesy of The Philotic Web (see "Links" page) and I also ended up visiting numerous online book retail sites to find other and larger versions.  Different covers have always fascinated me, especially in the many different languages, and I had a blast finding them all and putting it all together.  If anyone knows of any I don't have, let me know!  My e-mail address is on the main page.

4/23/03 - Well, I've decided to keep a log of my updates to this page.   First, I want to make sure everyone knows that I'm still alive and still updating the site.  Also, this has something to do with a project I am doing for school.  I am a senior in high school and each student is required, in addition to a ten-page paper, to complete some sort of project relating to their area of study.  The title of my paper was "Twentieth Century American Science Fiction Film: An Historical Expression of Society's Hopes and Fears Regarding Continual Advancements in Science and Technology."  For my project, I first decided to write a screenplay for Ender's Game, but have since realized that will be harder that originally anticipated.  I have been working on this site for about six months, and am going to incorporate it into my project.  Hence, I will have another section of my site devoted to my screenplay and any other "Ender" works I decide to create (like the poem I wrote for my English teacher earlier this year).  So, come by and visit often, and I hope to have a lot of new information in the future!
