| ENDER'S PARENTS | ||||||
| Ender's parents are not given names in the book. They are not important characters and really serve no function in the novel. We only hear from them in the beginning of the book, and after that the quickly disappear. Ender's parents are largely unaware of what goes on in their household. They were given permission by the government to have a third child, Ender, in the hopes that he would be a candidate for training in Battle School. They love their children, but are really not a part of their lives. | ||||||
