Neoromanticism: A new idea for the new millennium.
The Romantic movement looked to explore the imagination in a time of great social change. Looking to the mind and soul in reaction to the cold empiricism of the "Enlightenment." From the Romantic Era came the vivid colors and fantasy of the Pre-Raphaelites, and the poetry of Wordsworth, Keats, and countless other masters of language. Music too reached new tiers of emotional exploration.
