| Name: Scyth Age: 17 Mech: Yui Magic: Posession (spirits that were unable to become data in the elimination process) Scyth can also see and communicate with spirits. Status: Light History: Scyth was born to a poor woman in Ayjbd (say it out loud). His father's fate is unknown, but whatever happened he never came back. Scyth's mothe rdied a few moments after he was born. Scyth too would have died, but Yamato, who had been watching Ayjbd looking for Scyth, asked some priests if they could save and raise Scyth for him. The priests, mistaking Yamato for a god, saved Scyth and raised him as a holy child to the winged god. Although Scyth hated his life at the temple there was nothing he could do about it. Then the head priest died, the one who had been the first to see Yamato, and Scyth saw his ghost walking down the steps to the temple garden. That's when Scyth's talent for posession was first discovered, for when the dead priest saw him, he knew (as a ghost) that Scyth could be posessed, and that if he posessed Scyth he could appoint the next head priest. Of course, this didn't help with Scyth's trying to leave the temple. Much later, he met Mirr, a fairly high rank girl from a rich Ayjbdtion family. She instisted on sneaking into the inner temple (the non-priest is forbidden from entering the inner temple (the living quarters and worship area for the priests) and the punishment is death). She was caught and killed in front of Scyth. Scyth was so upset that he refused to eat. Mirr, who had become a ghost, came back to the temple to knock some sense into him. She would have too, if she wasn't visible to everyone. The whole temple could see Mirr, so instead of knocking Scyth out she simply told him that she was alright and that she wanted him to continue living in Ayjbd. But Scyth's will to keep his world together had bee shattered. Yamato returned to Scyth's world of Ayjbd one last time to bring Scyth to Data. |
