Rob Harrison

Rob Harrison is a former Financial Analyst. He started off in finance in the mid 60s and first came across Sir Juan when he was hired to head up C7's accounts department in 1983. Since then Rob and Sir Juan have become firm friends and stay in close contact.

Rob says: "Sir Juan is a very generous friend. The best thing about working for him was there was always something going on - he has vibrancy about him." When Rob retired Sir Juan put on a dinner at the Dorchester for 100 guests.

Rob's role in Sir Juan's empire was to manage the company's finances, stock value and property interests but he also became an integral part of C7's company management.

An avid Newcastle United fan, Rob owned several lucrative properties in Newcastle and sold them all in '96 to fund the purchase of Alan Shearer for the club. Further to this he was retained by the Chantilly-based secretariat of His Highness the Aga Khan in France for over 20 years.

Rob's career has taken him all over the world; in his retirement he still pursues his life long passion of world travel.
