| THE
PARTING OF THE RED SEA WAS A MIRACLE, IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US TO KNOW
WHEN THE ISRAELITES CROSSED THE RED SEA.
DOES
THE EXACT TIME THEY CROSSED PARALLEL WITH ANY EVENT IN THE BIBLE.
The
following knowledge is vitally important in locking all the pieces together
that form the understanding of Gods plan for His people.
The
Passover must be kept on the correct day to unlock the mystery of the parting
of the Red Sea.
When
the Israelites left Egypt, they first camped at Succoth.
EX
12 V 37.
37And
the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred
thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
The
second day they camped at Etham
EX
13 V 20.
20And
they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge
of the wilderness.
The
third day they camped between Migdol and the sea.
EX
14 V 2.
2Speak
unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth,
between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye
encamp by the sea.
This
was three days from the killing of the Passover lamb.
The
parting of the Red Sea is to be compared with the raising of Christ, and
His ascendence to the Father. Notice the following .
The
Red Sea parted all night, {starting three days from the time that
Christ would be buried}. This is three days from the time the Lamb was
killed. As the Israelites came through the Red Sea they reached the other
side where the promised land was available. The Israelites were not at
the promised land when they came out of Egypt.
Christ,
after His death was to be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth and then be raised. The parting of the Red Sea corresponds to the
time Christ was brought back from the heart of the earth and raised . There
is new knowledge to be learnt regarding this time. Christ said He
would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mat
12:40 For as Jonas was
three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man
be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The three days are Thursday Friday Saturday, the
three nights are Thursday, Friday Saturday.
During this time Christ was in Hades or Hell,
Sunday morning He was raised from the dead,
Wednesday night he was in His tomb, he was dead
but was not in Hades or Hell, which is the prison for the fallen angels.
Notice what Jesus did when He went to hell
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached
unto the spirits in prison;
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient,
when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the
ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
As we compare this time with the exodus of the
Israelites, the Israelites prepared to leave Egypt at this time, they waited
in their homes, after the Passover service, until after midnight, when
the death angel passed over, then around 2 am they left Egypt.
After Christ was buried, He was resurrected sometime
between His burial and sunriseThursday morning, He then went to hell.
This corresponds to the Israelites leaving Egypt.
Notice the following regarding the time Christ
spent in the heart of the earth
Act 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave
my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

JOHN
20 V 1,17.
The
first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark,
unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
17Jesus
saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but
go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your
Father; and to my God, and your God.
The
parting of the Red Sea made the way to the promised land available. The
resurrection and glorification of Jesus Christ made eternal life available.
NOTE
THIS VERY CAREFULLY, at our baptism we have eternal life available we do
not at this time have eternal life.
EPH
1 V 13,14.
3In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed
with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his
glory.
As
the Israelites crossed the Red Sea they left Egypt and came to where the
promised land was available. They had a lot more trials and tribulations
before some of them actually entered the promised land.
EX 15 V 22-26
So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into
the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and
found no water. And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the
waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called
Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when
he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made
for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, And said,
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt
do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee,
which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth
thee.
After crossing the Red Sea they journeyed 3 days into the wilderness
to Marah. Notice carefully verses 25 and 26. You will notice that God gave
them a statute and an ordinance and He proved them there also. This happened
on the Last day of Unleavened Bread. This is when they reached the waters
of Marah. The last day of Unleavened Bread.
God
calls us out of Egypt {sin} to where the promised land {Eternal Life} is
available. We have a lot of trials and tribulations before we reach eternal
life.
