The United church of God was not formed by breakaway groups. This was the church  that followed on with the teaching that God had put in the church through Mr. Armstrong. They knew clearly, that the Worldwide church was being led back to the ways of the world by Mr. Tkach snr. Some American ministers were terminated with little severance pay, choosing the knowledge they had learned under Mr Armstrong. These people were putting God before money. With the new beginning, there was a sense of excitement and rejuvenation at services and Holy days. Gods spirit was at church. The first few feasts were a pleasure to attend. 

Unfortunately, the leaders in the church have let the membership down badly. There has been no new knowledge accepted into the church since its inception. The leaders will only use scripture to back up their beliefs, not to learn new knowledge. Petty jealousies and mistrust of the membership have crept in. The doctrinal committee, are only a rubber stamp for the beliefs of the church. 

On the 1st Jan. 2001 my wife and I sent documents to the church containing new truths about the Passover, and the oneness of God, among other things. These articles were totally supported by correctly divided scripture. They were totally rejected, and we were astounded by the way scripture was twisted and disbelieved, by people who should believe God. Gods ministers should fear to twist and alter scripture. 

The United church of God is now at a stage where they are not afraid to twist scripture to make it say what it does not say. They are not afraid to alter scripture to make it agree with their ideas. The church members are having biblical truths purposely withheld. God condemns this attitude. 

ROM. 1 v 18.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

I draw your attention to the booklet ‘Who is God’ recently put out by the United church. This booklet contains incorrectly quoted scripture and twisted meaning of plain scripture. This is done to make the bible agree with the churches doctrine. 

Page six. 1 Tim. 6 v 15,16. is quoted as follows….. 

‘‘[Christ] is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man can see, to whom be honour and everlasting power…”

The complete quote is; 

1 TIM. 6 v 15,16.

Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. 

Verse 14 shows that Christ in His time will show who is the blessed and only Potentate, this verse 15 above refers to the Father.  Christ will show who it is in His time. So the church has made out that verse 15 is referring to Christ, it is in fact referring to the Father. 

Also note the words ‘whom no man has seen’ are omitted to change the meaning. Read the quoted scriptures carefully. 

Christ has been seen in his glorious state, at the transfiguration, on the mountain when the Ten Commandments were given. [God the Father could not be seen, God the Word could.] God the word was  seen by Joshua in the Promised Land. Josh 5 v 13-14 

Page 27. The quote is Ex. 3 v 14,15

 Read this page carefully, verse 14 is correctly quoted. Verse 15 is completely changed. This is done, once again, to deny the Father. 

Church quote, verse 15. 

[ continuing with the Exodus account] ‘‘and he said, ‘thus you shall say to the children of Israel’ ‘‘ I AM has sent me to you’’… This is my name forever; and this is my memorial to all generations’’ 

Bible quote. 

EX. 3 V 15.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

‘I AM’ is not mentioned in correctly quoted verse 15. ‘I AM’ means ‘I EXIST.’ God is not saying his name is ‘I AM.” In verse 14 God is revealing himself as the ‘Jehovah’ the Self Existent One. Verse 16 confirms this. Moses has to tell the Israelites that the Lord [Jehovah or Self Existent One] has appeared to him [Moses.] 

EX. 3 V 16.

Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: 

The church states clearly on page 27 and we quote 
"Again Christ is the I AM" of the bible. 

HOWEVER

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: is the Father of Jesus Christ. Note this is clearly stated in the following verse 

ACTS. 3 V 13.

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go

Jehovah is God the Father. Read the next scripture carefully, the church leaders do not believe it. The ‘I AM’ of the burning bush is Jehovah, God the Father. [God the Word was also in the burning bush.] 

PSA. 83 V 18.

That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. 

Christ is son of the Most High God. 

MARK 5 V 7. 

And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

John 8 v 58 has been  deliberately misquoted. The  scripture. ‘I AM’ means ‘I EXIST’ Christ is saying as plainly as it is possible to say; that he existed before Abraham. The ministry of the United church of God know this. 

JOHN 8  V  58.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 

The church states in the booklet on page 27 that the scripture above mentioned in Ex. 3 reveals the identity of the I Am of John 8 v 58. 

John 8 v 58 says  that Christ existed before Abraham. To assume anything else, is wrong, and twisting the meaning of scripture. 

The leaders in the United church of God have deliberately altered scripture to withhold truth from the membership. The whole booklet is written to back up their doctrine. Let me make this simple statement: 
If ‘One God’ means ‘Two Gods’ then John 17 v 3 is talking about three Gods. In point of actual fact it actually means what it says ‘One true God and Jesus Christ.’ 

The booklet ‘Who is God’ is written by people with no fear of God. It is full of inconsistencies, and is incorrect in its conclusions. The leaders of the United church of God must repent of deliberately deceiving the membership, and rectify the situation. There is a terrible punishment from God, for deliberately misleading the flock. Let me repeat: a minister of Gods church should fear to alter or twist the pure word of God. 

The United Church is changing the bible to agree with their doctrine, we must be changing our doctrine to agree with the bible.
