Nigeria 1 Naira 1984 VF Front Design: Sir Herbert Macauley.
1 naira note first was introduced in 1973 and in 1979 the new issues
carried the portrait of Sir Herbert Macauley. In 1992 the 1 naira note was
withdrawn from circulation and replaced with the 1 naira coin.
