young, beautiful, and somewhat mysterious, aeris meets cloud while selling flowers on the streets of midgar. she decides to join him soon after. her unusual abilities enable her to use magic, but she seems more interested in the deepening love triangle between herself, cloud and tifa.

aeris is a woman who works for her family by selling flowers for ONLY one gil (can you believe that?? how is she gonna profit?? ^^;;). she experiences her first 'blast' when no. 1 reactor exploded and bumped into this guy who looks like a chocobo (we all know who that is ;) ). it's up to the player if cloud buys a flower or not, anyway. when aeris was walking away, i (or maybe we) tried ta talk to her but the game won't let me/us. so, anyway, we don't need that 'cause cloud is soon found lying on the flower bed in the church. when Reno and co. arrived, aeris asked cloud to help her escape from them and they get into the jumping scene. while on a slide near the wall market, aeris tells about her first love named zack. then, they get into this huge wall market scene where she forced Cloud to crossdress. XD after that, she ends up near the pillar who volunteered to help marlene out of the chaos. while she was running towards her house, the turks got marlene from her even if she was already home. the next time she meets with cloud is on the helicopter with tseng where she is taken to Shinra Inc. cloud saves her from hojo, anyway. from there she travels with cloud (and reaches gongaga, ye people know this) until she ends up in the temple of the ancients where she gets a lot of enlightening. soon, she's in the forbidden capital where she prayed for holy. *sniff sniff* yes, after praying for holy, sephiroth comes down from above and stabs her with the *sniff sniff* masamune...! WAHHH! anyway, even though she's already in the Lifestream, she met cloud one last time after sephiroth had died.

aeris is a very sweet optimistic girl who seems to lighten up the mood whenever the whole AVALANCHE is down. she's also very warm-hearted as she does her best to protect and defend her friends (Limit Breaks). she doesn't mind if it takes her life to save lives, just as long as she is successful, she is happy. :) so, I bet we'd all be lucky if we have someone like aeris with us! :D however, is there someone like her? ^^;; she's one of a kind!

and hey! Didja know how square thought up of aeris' death?? hironobu sakaguchi and another game director (not sure who, maybe yoshinori kitase) was talking over the phone and they were like: 'hey! let's kill aeris!' 'sure!' meanies. X( oh yeah! and did you know that aeris' surname came from a famous painter named...something gainsborough, I forgot. ^^;; thanks to Meike for this info! :)
