CHARACTERS
Allen Schezar
Allen is a handsome, calm and skillful knight of the Kingdom of Asturia. He is the rival of Van when it comes to Hitomi Kanzaki. He also becomes involved with Princess Melerna who of course likes him. He is also entangled with his affair with Millerna's older sister and the fruit of their love affair. He is one of the major characters of the series Escaflowne. He makes a strong appeal to the anime itself *-* (*drool* Allen). He has an aerial ship which Van and the others make use of during their travels. All in all Allen is like the knight in shining armor gurls have always dreamed about ^-^!
Hitomi Kanzaki
She is the main character of the series. Hitomi is an athlete and a very simple, reserved girl who has a crush on Amano, an athlete who resembles a lot like Allen O.o She was accidentally brought by Van to Fanelia, his kingdom. By that, she becomes involved with both Van and Allen causing a love triangle! She becomes confused with her feelings with Allen because of his charm and forwardness, but later realizes Van's feelings to be much greater.

Fanel
He is the young prince of Fanelia. He is a quiet but a hot-tempered swordsman who accidentally brings Hitomi to his time. As the prince he is destined to protect his people from Zaibach, where his older brother Folken is in charge. He is not good at expressing his feelings towards Hitomi, which often leads to their misunderstandings. But as the series goes on, he begins to slowly realize his true feelings to the girl of the Mystic Moon XD
Princess Millerna
Princess of the Kingdom of Asturia. She holds special feelings for the Caeli Knight, Allen Schezar. She is a cheerful, approachable young lady who becomes friends with Hitomi. She becomes engaged with Dryden, a rich merchant because of his father's consent. Although she loves Allen deep inside, she continues on with the marriage. But a certain turn of events change that, so she continues loving Allen. She is also one of Hitomi's rival with Allen ^^ She is one of the characters who makes the love triangle even more interesting! And I enjoy these kind of things hehehe XD
