He was my friend, he was my shadow.
He loved me unconditionally.
He was my friend, he was my companion.
He loved me with all he had to give.
Never complained, always there for me.
Always stood by my side, in day or night.
He was my friend, always had a kiss to
start the day and one to end each night.
He was my friend, I loved him dearly.
Always waggin his tail, when he saw me.
Always jumping on my legs to let me know
he was there.
He was my friend, he hated the cold, and
crawled under the covers, putting his head
on my shoulder to feel my love.
He loved ice cream, even though it made him
shiver.
He was too fat, to jump on my bed, and he
would sit and beg, till I picked him up and laid
him next to me.
He was my friend, but now he's gone away.
When I was ill, he stayed always by my side.
But now he's gone to meet his maker.
He was so full of life, never a mean bone in his
body.
He will always be in my heart, and that way we
will never part.
He was my friend, and always will be. But it's not
the same without him next to me.
