I sit here in total amazement, looking, searching, wanting to find
what has been lost.
What is this that was lost to me. What am I looking and searching
for. Where will this wondering end.
Gazing into the darkest night, reaching towards the brightest star,
feelings of bewilderment and astonishment fill my thoughts.
How can such beauty be an eye glance away, yet be trillions of
miles from my outstretched arms.
A feeling of loneliness creeps in, water droplets fill my eyes and
trickle down my cheeks, like the morning dew, rolling off the leaves
of a tree. Why this feeling of despair, why this feeling of emptiness in
the air.
Looking, searching, yet knowing not what I am reaching for. A
strong desire of longing, needing, wanting, yearning, fills my silent
heart. Is this my search, is this the way it must be.
As I gaze into the night sky, and seek the most beautiful of all stars.
I become one with the universe, lost in its most glorious beauty. A
feeling of worth and knowing fills my every essence.
A touch of the most powerful of all feelings, grabs at my heart,
reaches to my awaiting soul. Now I understand my looking into the
heavens, my searching for the most beautifullest of all stars.
For it was inside me the whole time, only afraid to see, to feel.
A most powerful feeling evokes my being. A feeling that only I
thought God could give his flock. A feeling so pure, so divine.
A flutter in my heart, a twinge of butterflies, a feeling of warmth over
powers me. A feeling of weakness forms in my knees. Looking
searching, now is coming to pass.
My yearning is for your love, your touch, wanting your arms
around me. Knowing that many miles you are away from me. Yet but
only as far as my heart, for I was blind and lost. Now I am one with
the universe and can see clearly now.
I want you next to my side, for all times, for eternity. For the most
powerful of all things has been found tonight, in my heart. It is my
love for you.
