Stand By My Side

Help me Lord, for I am lost.

Help me Lord, to find who I am

once again.

Times are hard, I feel so lost inside.

So many traitors in this world.

Why oh why, do I attract them unto

me.

I am someone special, I love this

land you put me on. But why must

I learn the hard way.

Help me Lord, to decipher right

from wrong.

Help me understand our fellowman.

So trusting am I, but not sure I

understand, why some can be so cruel.

You taught me how to open my heart

and how to love again.

So tell me what I am suppose to do.

How can I reach the ones, that feel not

from their heart.

Help me Lord, to make each day blessed.

Help me to understand, the ways of the

world. Help me to be strong.

Let me love, the way I can, Let me try

once again. With you by my side, I know

I'll make it.

Help me Lord, stand by my side, help me

find who I am. For I am lost and need to

find me once again.
