I was granted a wish, for doing so well.
My wish was to be with you, for you to
see me, to touch me and to feel me.
I sit here, on your bed, watching you sleep
and turn your head, seeing a tear drop
roll from your eyes.
Silly Baby, when you wake up, you will
see me, by your side.
I stroke your hair, as you move your head.
I am here, beside you once again.
Time has drifted by, and your still alone.
Our love, is so strong, your wish as mine
was heard. Wake up soon my darling.
For I am here with you now.
I hear a whimper in the stillness of the
night, what is this I hear. A child crying
in the night.
You move your head as if in silent motion.
You rise from the bed and walk down the hall.
For I am right behind you.
Who is this, you take me to. A child so sweet
and calling in the night.
She looks like a prodigy of you and me.
Turning on the charm, you walk up to her.
Calling out my name. She raises up to meet
your sweet touch.
She looks up to see you, but catches me and
a smile and light fills the room.
She stretches out her arms to me, squirming
to be free. Then you turn to see, what has
captured her little heart.
A gasp, from your mouth, then tears start
to come.
I touch your face, with tears of joy, for my
Silly Baby, I've come back to you. You touched
my hand with your tear stained cheek.
And cry out my name, with sobs of joy, we
lock in sweet embrace.
Silly Baby, I've come home to you. For wishes
really do come..................true.
