In
Their Eyes
In the eyes, of a child. So much fascination
in little things they do see.
In their eyes, they see no wrong, only beauty.
They fear no evil, as protection covers them.
In the eyes, of a child, so forgiving, so much
love to share.
A smile glistens through their tears. As they
are taught right from wrong.
Feeling others pains, they reach out their little
arms, to comfort them.
In the eyes, of a child, stop and remember how
we use to be.
But something's change, and their eyes they do
weep, and then they turn into you and me.
I think its time we change, and begin again, to
see, through the eyes of a child.
