Once again, I play the fool. Rushing in,
to rapidly. Heart is breaking, as you
said good bye.
You tell me to forget you, to move on
with my life. Funny man, silly man,
do you think I'm blind.
For love is not sending someone away.
Only games of the heart, can turn one
away.
I thought your love was genuine, but
I was just a fool. For you never had
the feelings, I had.
Only empty words, from a shallow
heart. You took my love and pushed
it away.
So now I must, try to trust again, and
find my heart. For I know someone
out there, will handle it with tender,
love and care.
For I was a fool, and sit here with
tears streaming down, but must walk
away. And start a new day.
So I bid you farewell, and know you
lost someone, who would have loved
you till the end of time.
