We have come along way, since we were
children.
From hide-n-seek and kick the cans, Barbie
dolls and make believe.
From childhood dreams and bandaged knees,
to bandaged hearts.
We have grown into beautiful women and
now have families of our own.
We have learned many things along our
journey into womanhood.
Teaching our offspring and re-living our
dreams through theirs, as we are all still
children at heart.
No matter how old our children are, we
are still learning motherhood.
I want to tell you, in my own words, that you
are special to me.
A friend in you, that I have met. Can share
our journeys with each other.
Just a word of kindness now, as I give you a
wish.
Wishing you, a Mother's Day of memories and
dreams fulfilled. And many more to add to
your journey through time.
Happy Mother's Day, to all my friends, and all
the Mother's who read this poem.
For you have just met a friend in me.
God Bless you and all Mother's everywhere.
