Look at me now, hear me cry in the night.
Hear my voice, carry through time,
in the wind.
Crying out, to all who will hear me, calling
strong. Calling in the night. Alone in my
world, no one can see me.
I wander aimlessly through the night, hiding
in the light. So many, think I am harmful, but
they need not worry.
I am beauty, hear me call, not a beast, not
like that at all. I have come to fear man, for he
only tries to destroy me.
Hear my voice, as I call to you, in the night.
I live here in my world, hoping to survive.
Do not fear me, for only rumors, destroy who
I am.
Listen, listen with your hearts, not with your
greed. Let me live, give me shelter and food,
when times are hard.
I am me and one of ancestry. Walk with me,
and you will see, I am who I am, and will protect
you, if you are kind to me.
Do not destroy my world, or take my offspring
away from......... me.
Live with me, let me be free, let me.......be me.
Hear my call, calling in the night, to all who will
hear. The moon, lights my way, I give thanks, and
sing to my friend.
