School is out for summer, will miss all
my friends. No more school activities to
attend again till next year.
Summer jobs and week end dates, can
now be any day of the week.
Shopping for summer attire, and a new
hair style. Saw a new shade of finger nail
polish, think my girlfriends and I will go
cruise the new mall.
What should I buy, to make the boys look
at me. Love to flirt and smile at them, like
to check them out in their blue jeans.
Hard to believe they once disgusted me.
Now all I see, are good looking hunks and
one this summer, maybe two or three, will
be with me. I am so happy, just look at me.
Yesterday, I wanted to be a ballerina, now
today I want to be a doctor, a lawyer or a
veterinarian or a movie star. Wonder what
I'll choose.
Well it doesn't matter as long as I am me.
Right now, wondering what I'll wear to the
town square. Hummmmmmm.
