As I stroll through the sand, on the moonlight
beach. I picture you here with me. Walking,
talking, holding hands.
Listening to the tunes of the ocean waves, beating
against its distance shores.
Hearing the humming of the mermaids, calling to
their mates.
Walking in a shawl around my slender waist, as my
hair shines by the moon, flowing with the ocean breeze.
Dreaming of what could be.
Envisioning you by my side, while the dolphins sing
their serenades.
Oh how sweet the thought, if only it could really be
this way.
Wrapping my arms around my shoulders, I sigh
and wonder why, I am alone.
Lovers off to the right of me, lovers to the left.
All in locked sweet embrace. Dolphins are in
the distance, jumping, playing, singing their song.
All so beautiful. I sit and watch them as they move
along.
Listening to the distant songs, and wondering, if
he will ever come to me, in my dreams or my reality.
So I sit here all alone, tears fill the rim of my eyes.
As I listen to the Dolphins Song.
