Can't Help It

You tell me you are an optimist and I'm a passifist.

You tell me to be patient, for all good things

come to those who wait.

I know, but can't help it.

You tell me, that soon, we'll be together.

Embracing each other, oh so tight.

You tell me, that we'll have many tomorrows

to share. Dreams full filled.

I know, but can't help it.

You tell me that you love me, and I am all

you need, I am the woman you have yearned

for in your dreams.

You tell me, baby please, wait for me.

That soon you'll be here.

So many things to share, to say and do.

You tell me that distance is hard, for me to

hang on. That the time is closer for you and

for me.

I know, but can't help it.

So I sit here everyday, and pray that time will

slip away. Longing to be with you. And when

you are here the time, goes by so rapidly.

Tears have come, from missing you.

You tell me not to cry, to be strong for you.

I know, but can't help it, for I have fallin in love

with you.
