Corner:

My name is Donna Le Graham, I am a Mother of six beautiful children. Four teens, soon to be five....Yikes. Not too bad, but sometimes I need to get away from everything,and when I do,I come into my room, and begin to write as I find peace and solitude in myself as I drift off into creating my poetry. I write in a way to capture others, their dreams, their fears, their fantasies and their reality. My own as well.

I was born on August 17th, in an town full of snow, I was born in Anchorage, Alaska. I was born into a Military family, so traveled much of my growing up years. With never having a place of balance, a place to call my own, a place to call home.

I had a bad childhood, which lacked allot of love, and suffered in fear and isolation most of the time. Afraid to talk for fear of pain. So after awhile you learn to accept what comes your way, even if it is wrong, and you go on.

I have been awarded medals in school, growing up. I won the State finalist award in three separate categories, one in art as I love to paint, one in poetry as I love to write, and one in vocal as I love to sing. Made it to the all State Finals in high school in my junior and senior years, and won the medal for top vocalist.

So I sit here now 20 some years later and I am starting to pursue one of my dreams, and that is to write. And if I can bring a special feeling to anyone, or touch their hearts with my words, then I am proud of my achievement. For bringing love and smiles to all that share my enchanted words. Is the most highest award of all.

I was raised on farms, when my own family was gone, learned that animals were my best friends. So I make sure I am not without them. For they always love me unconditionally, never a harsh word, never inflicted pain on me. They were there for me, when human contact was my enemy.

Now I have 9 dogs, 4 cats, 6 snakes, rats and iguanas. Someday I would love to own a monkey, use to have a raccoon and a black bear. But those are days gone by.

I love Unicorns and Dolphins and Gorillas and Monkeys and Tweety Bird. Silly me... I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, exploring new places, love ghost town history. Rock collecting and artifact finding. I like to paint pictures on skull heads and old saws and am quite good at it. I also love to watch WCW wrestling.

I now reside in Arizona, but someday hope to leave here, as it seems to be my downfall and not my home to be. I am a good person and an honest one and I try my best at all I do.

Well this is some about me, hope you are not disappointed, in what you heard so far. I also write special poems by request for donations. Helps feed my kids, as well as my paintings.
