I know I may have hurt you,
But you have to understand,
I�m not worth the feelings,
So please don�t take my hand.
Don�t tell me that you love me,
Don�t give me your heart,
Although you may not realize it,
I could never play this part.
I�m not familiar with the lines,
The script I�ve got all wrong,
I could try my hand at improve,
But I�m really not that strong.
I may seem like a gentle spirit,
But you�ve left your guard down,
If you get any closer,
In my sins, you will surely drown.
I don�t think I�d succeed,
In the game we�d play,
Love is such a fickle thing,
That changes day to day.
One day I could love you,
The next I could not care,
And I don�t want to hurt you,
So pretend that I�m not there.
Besides, you�re not losing out,
I�m a really just a pain,
A simple two-faced drone,
Whose feelings have been slain.
