Here's several short ones.

A Spring Nights Dream

Lifting off I fly away,
Above a green hill I sail,
Towards the light of setting day.
Winging low over flowered dale,
Smelling the forests clean perfume,
Flying fast before a gale,
Over rivers, beneath the moon,
Until the sky with dawn grows pale.

Dragon

Across the burning land,
Of shifting sand,
In dark lairs deep,
The dragons sleep
With iron scales,
And plated tails,
Their hordes of precious gold they keep

Leaf

Dancing, spinning, in the wind
Falling, twirling, summers end.
Lighting down upon a stream,
Drift away in autumns dream,
Sail away to foreign lands,
See the seashores golden sands.
Birds are going home to nest,
A sharp breeze springs up from the west,
I lift up, I fly away,
then vanish to the dying day.

Rose

Soft perfume adorns the air,
Light shines through dark petals fair,
Making them glow like sunset,
Green leaves with morning dew are wet.
Soft as silk and red as blood,
Unrolling leaves and blooming bud
What beauty is bestowed on these,
That is carried so softly by the breeze.

(I did this one just for fun)

Oh, I could stand,
With a bandit band,
But youd surely find me out,
For though Im dressed,
Just like the rest,
Im the only ape about!
