I always like a story told,
Of battles won and warriors bold,
My eyes should shine with battle light,
But not for any fabled fight,
But for the battle now and here,
Against the prince of lies and fear
So I will try to keep in heart,
As for the battle we depart,
The words of Jesus Christ our lord,
To lay down our arms, both spear and sword,
And use the weapons from above,
Like patience, gentleness and love .
