So far this has been an extremely boring month. Some people are upset with Ty over the word "retirement". They feel that when items become "retired", Ty should not continue to ship the items to stores.
I remember hearing once that the items are not necessarily shipped from Ty after retirement, but what does happen is the warehouses hold items and don't ship them right away. They can actually hold items for months without shipping them. So it may not be Ty's fault at all.
Soon, we will see what will happen - Especially with the major retirement only 80 days away...

Rumors Rumors regarding 2000 product introductions are nothing but that ..... rumors! Any information that is circulating concerning Ty Inc.'s 2000 product should not be believed. Believe me, only one person knows what will happen at the start of the new millennium. Please be patient and DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ!! Ty Warner

Also, Ty included another letter about three Hallmark stores that just lost their retail accounts because they were caught selling to the secondary market dealers. It's about time these people were caught!!! Let's have beanies the way there were meant to be.
