Enchanted Village - Page 11

Heading back down toward the main Village area from the Northwest Territory, we ran into our old friend!

The return of Timber Squirrel: Rodent of Prey!

This time he'd found some Indian corn in the Fright Fest decorations and wasn't messin' around! I got close enough for a few pics, but then a noisy family came along and he had to run off with his prize.

Tree Topper

We passed a couple of cute rides geared toward the smaller customers. The Kiddie Coaster had us a little worried...

The last car of the train had a big hole in the side! The way the coaster is set on the track, the hole faces away from the load platform. So it seemed unlikely that a rider caused the damage. Unless of course, someone had kicked the hole, and rather than fix it, Six Flags just picked up the whole coaster train and turned it around 180 degrees to run in the opposite direction. But wouldn't you have to kick awfully hard to make a hole in the metal or fiberglass or whatever-its-made-of side? Looking at it, we wondered if the coaster hadnt thrown a wheel and it broke through the side of the train, leaving the hole. Wasnt there an accident like that on Space Mountain not too long ago and several tourists were badly injured? Scary!
