Enchanted Isles UO shard is designed for player enjoyment and is free of any charges for playtime. The following is the Enchanted Isles Shard Rules and Terms of Service (TOS). Failure to follow the rules may result in jail time of your character, or banning of your account on Enchanted Isles. Enchanted Isles is currently a role-playing shard. Please note: Just because a rule is not specifically stated or detailed does not mean that if you do find a "loophole" you are free to proceed with unacceptable behavior. �Use your heads and judgement, you are ALL perfectly capable of knowing right from wrong. You may lose the right to play on this shard if your actions are designed to be detrimental to the shard as a whole. � Have fun! This shard is donated to the citizens of Britannia so that you may enjoy the shard and the people that dwell in the lands. Paging GMs! The GM paging system is to be used in Emergencies only. If you are stuck, or have a problem that interrupts or discontinues your gameplay, this is constituted an emergency. Abuse of the GM paging system will result in the jailing or banning of your character. Questions! If you have a question, ask the players or refer to the website. Do not page a GM for anything other than the above stated problems. Illegal Actions! When in doubt, don't do it! If you are not sure whether something is legal, please find out. Everyone is expected to be up-to-date on the rules and ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse. Use the golden rule... If you wouldn�t want it done to you don�t do it to others. Profanity! No profanity around staff, or racist or sexist remarks will be tolerated around or towards staff or players. This goes for abbreviated expressions like fubar or wtf included. This is considered Anti-Social Behaviour and will be dealt with as such. Exploitation! No bug exploitation is allowed. If you discover something that might be a bug - report it immediately. If you are caught using any bug for ANY reason, you will be held responsible. Anti-Social Behavior! No harassment of players or staff will be tolerated. Have respect for everyone on the shard. If you have a problem with a player challenge him/her to a duel or do it within the bounties of the shard. If you take matters into your own hands then you take a chance of losing your account. Items! Do not ask GMs for items. GMs are not allowed to give out free items to players. Nor are they allowed to alter your stats or skills. Message Boards! Use the shard message boards with respect. It is not to be used as means to harass or slam people. This includes this shard or other shards, players, staff. Abuse of the message boards will be punished. Account Life! Accounts that haven�t been used within a 3-month period may be removed at the staff's discretion. No restoration or compensation will be given. NPCs! (Non-Player Characters) The abuse of NPCs is not tolerated. Guild Stones! Guild stones must be placed outside or inside a guild member's house. If guild stones are found elsewhere, they will be deleted. Stealing/Looting! Stealing from or looting players is FORBIDDEN! This falls under the area of anti-social behaviour. Looting is only allowed under the following two conditions. A: If you are a friend and are only acquiring the loot from a fallen player with the intention of giving it back, or B: If you have engaged in a war or duel where it is agreed upon before hand that the winners may loot the fallen. If it is not agreed upon that looting/stealing is allowed then it is strictly FORBIDDEN! Skills/Stats! CURRENTLY NOT IN EFFECT!!!!!! In the event that your character gains skill or stats above that which your character class is allowed to have, it�s your responsibility to immediately report this. Failure to do so can result in punitive action. Failure to comply is reason for banning. Remember that this does show in the server save files! Accounts! Only one (1) account per person is permitted unless specifically allowed by the Administration. Failure to comply will render the best account deleted or banned completely. You are allowed 3 player characters. Macroing! Macroing is only allowed with the macro keys found in options of uo paperdoll...no other macroing program is allowed At this time unattended Macroing is not allowed . This however is subject to change . If you are a macro user, be sure to stay informed on whether it is allowed or not. Player Names! Any player found to have a character with an unacceptable or offensive name will be confronted to have their name changed. This also applies to Guild names. (Examples of inappropriate names: "KKK", "666" etc.) PKing! (Player Killing) PKing is absolutely forbidden! PKing is defined as killing another player that does not desire to engage in combat and is being killed for your own personal gain or fun. See anti-social behaviour! Player vs. Player Combat! (PvP) PvP is allowed only if both parties agree to the engagement and how it will be conducted. Otherwise it is considered PKing. Housing! Players' may place houses and other deedable structures. (ie: houses, stables, gazebos, gardens, etc.) None of which are to be placed inside any town limits nor block any road, cave or dungeon entrance or another players house entrance, etc. Any structures found not in compliance with these guidelines will be removed without compensation to the owner. Please choose a location carefully when you place any deedable structure. Static housing is now available for use by players. Please call for a GM to place your sign on the house when you find one you would like to use. Do not try to redeed static houses. Conduct! All are expected to treat staff and other players with respect. The staff also has rules that they must follow and if you can't treat everyone with respect then don�t expect to be here long. Spamming! Spamming is the deliberate repetition of speech. This is not only extremely annoying, but is not permitted and will not be tolerated for any reason. *Note: Banning will only occur at the discretion of the Owner/Administrator. In any case of permanent ban, any player found to be allowing a banned player on their account will receive the same sentence. |
