In these X-mas hols (2001) we went to the US and Canada, and ive totally fallen in love with canada, the people are so nice and chilled and its got an awesome vibe about it. We spent just over a week in Whistler, (well it was an extended visit thanks to myself managing to break BOTH my wrists so we had to do the whole hospital and physio thing) and, let me tell you, if you dont visit Whistler once in your life, YOU HAVENT LIVED!

The rest of Canada was really fun too. We spent New YeaRS on Vancouver Island, which is about a 3 hour ferry ride from Seattle. It was so pretty here, and like all the other Canadians we met, everyone was so nice. We met heaps of Australians as well.
...snowboarding...
apart from the fact that all guys look hot when they are in snowboarding gear, the actual sport its self is also awesome! the feeling of going down a mountain so fast with the wind on ur face is unreal and so addictive. aside from the fact that after a few hours of riding i didnt have a muscle that didnt hurt and tha i broke a few bones, i could say up there all day everyday.(from boog... "i met this HOT ski instructor called nevan who me and my teacher, Mrs Mac, were fighting over but he liked me and he put in a request to get me again the next day and he sat with me on the chairlift and he was hot")

It was ages ago now, bout 2 years i think, but i had the best two weeks of my life and ive also got heaps of pictures uploads, so mite as well put something bout it. So, basically, after you visit Whistler, swing on by Yasawa in the south Pacific...

cos its beautiful. These pictures can hardly show how surreal it was. This little black kid took me and Josh to the other side of the island, and there was think fucking AWESOME crystal clear water and white sand, surround in green rain forest and waterfalls. Then when we went snorkelling we fully entered something right out of the little mermaid hey. There was all these amazing coral and fish, and ahhh it was so joy. The entire cruise was awesome, and EVERYONE should try to go on one with some friends. Picture this... sleeping in till lunch time, having a buffet breakfast, lying by the spa all day, swimming, maybe go to something the cruise has organised, otherwise just drink cocktails and bum around the ship with a massive group of friends in a big white bath robe, getting an awesome tan and then once it starts getting later, maybe see a movie before getting ready for formal dinner then going to the onboard club and drink drink and drink...mmmmm.
