Solemnly consider this important matter,God's love is great toward you,He longs for your fellowship and the loyalty of your heart and life.Do not reason that you can please Him with a careless or disobedient profession of faith."Faith without works is dead"(James 2:26)Neither venture to keep God's law in your own strength or in an effort to atone for your sins,for this cannot be,But with a heart aflame with love to god for His great love to you,yield yourself in submission and obedience to do good,by His grace,always and only those things that please Him.Then the precious promise of Revelation 22:14 is for you;Blessed are they that do his commandments,that they may have right to the tree of life,and may enter in through the gates into the city."Having accepted His love,acknowledged His power and be privileged to worship the Almighty God. |
