Forever Friendship

I don't care about tomorrow, I've given up on yesterday.
Today is all that matters, we can't let these memories drift away.
Should I quietly sit back, and watch you leave out my door?
Or maybe pretend like it was, the way things were once before?
I am not afraid, to look into the past.
But what scares me now: we are growing up so fast.
If only I had the courage, to call out your name...
Would the choices we've made still be the same?
We should stand together, to see through it all.
Cling on to what we have now, and never let it fall.
There'll be some days, when everything will go wrong.
But your friends will always be here, in the places friends belong.
The days I knew were coming, that I have to say goodbye.
The days I've not yet understood, and ask the question: why?
Why we have to leave, go our seperate ways?
For the time will lengthen, and our visits will wait days.
Why have we made it through both the good and the bad?
Why don't we remember all those harsh fights that we've had?
It's all because of this, that we are still good friends.
We will always be this, until forever friendship ends.

Red:  "But I could be telling the truth.
Sarah:  But then he would be lying.
So if you told me he said yes, I know the answer would still be no."
