Or at least to the idea of democracy.
I don�t like governments,
Or at least not ones run on hypocrisy.
I�d die for democracy,
I�d kill myself for the same.
I refuse to let myself die for one man,
Or his agenda (if he accepts no blame.)
I would not kill for stripes,
I will not kill for stars.
I won�t die so inherited money,
Can put big oils product into its cars.
I will not fight for kings of talk,
I will die for the right to be heard.
I will kill for the right to freely speak,
Even if I am the one left without a word.
