Jim Mcdaniel was seen making a pass at that bartender trying to get a free hot dog. Don Worth was kicked out of the privilege parking next to the club house. Dan Chory was seen running like a little girl trying to get out of the rain. Don Worth needs to talk to the rules committee for an explanation of out of bounds on 18. Don's drive ended up going through the willow trees on the left of the fairway. His next shot ended up out of bounds on the right side of 18. He took several shots going up the 10th fairway before making it to the 18 green. He finished the hole with an 8. I want to get some of the stuff Toby Russell is smoking! Toby shot a 36, he played all nine holes, counted all his stokes and played his own ball all the way around. Toby attributed some of his success to his new carbon fiber driver that he bought at a yard sale for $5. Very nice round Toby! Paul Daigle also had a great round shooting a 37. He must be smoking some of Tobys stuff. Scott Hill gave up one to the water gods on 15, but it wasnt enough to hold off the downpour. Now that Ben Sadewicz has established a high handicap he has decided to play to his real potential, he shot a net 30. The words ringer and sandbagger come to mind when I see a score like this. Ben may be someone to watch. Someone from The Hazard, Parole Board foursome made a great observation; "it rained". Doug Cokely got tired of walking in the grass, so on 11 he played 2 of his shots off the cart path. Doug also had a birdie on 13 and then he had a D.O. on 17. Jim Mcdaniel had a D.O. on 17 because he felt wet. Some members of this league will capitalize on every opportunity to drink beer! During the rain delay the Dubbers drove in to buy ONLY THEMSELVES a beer!! I have to admit that it is probable my fault for the showers on Thursday. My drive on 15 bounced across the pond ending up almost on top of the hill. Just when the water gods thought they had another ball it bounced away. The sky was falling on me on number 17. My drive went straight up and came down short of the cart path. Oh but I got a good roll, it rolled across the path into some nice thick rough. My second shot ended up imbedded in the side of the drainage ditch.
