| I finished my Elementary at the age of 11 with honor, let say from top 10 I�ve got top 4 and that was in 1981. Then continue to Highschool and I graduated with top 4 honor�s too. It was a different feeling to complete my highschool days and it was a hard time for me, no parents to lean on and to call on only my big bros. and big sis. who always there for me. After Highschool graduation, I don�t know where should I go and what should I do because all of those who are supporting to me for a little centavos they already get married and ofcourse they have thier own family. I decided then to try my luck in Manila and went to my Auntie but still I prefer to stay together with my single brother Ben. After a month I got work but im not satisfied to it. Then change to another work which i have to carry guns, wear my blue uniform, I was only 16 years old at that time but have to work and to save money. I have luck because at Technological Institute of the Philippines were offering scholarship to those lucky young students who can pass the Scholarship Examination, out of 250 students there are only 60 who passed it and I were one of them. I took BS in Electrical Engr., i�ve got free tuition fee but allowances nothing. With the help of my brother I finish only 2 semester, have to stop, because my allowance is not enough, so I continue working and save money again. Some people advice me to change my course into Computer Course ,which they says its in demand in the whole world with new technology. Why not, so then decided to enroll at System Technology Institute and study Computer Programming for 2 years and got only 1-1/2year but because I enroll to a 4 years course which is BS in Computer Science major in System Analysis and Software Dev�t. I worked day and go to school at night. I work 4 years with blue uniform and I was assigned in the Bureau of Internal Revenue and got luck again because I was employed there and got postion as contractual for 1-1/2. Then became regular for God sake!It was 4 years of studying and supporting my own. But at last I make it!!!!!! With strong determination and hardwork. |
