Though not seen in the scan, the centers of the 'crosses' are crossed with a shiny near-clear thread/floss. This thread/floss also accents the design between the pair of initials. This was the very first bookmark I made. Approximatly 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/4 inches high/wide. Approximatly 11 centimeters long by 5 1/4 centimeters high/wide. |
Small strips of red and blue ribbons act as tassels on one end. The centers of the 'crosses' along the side are crossed with a single strand of copper thread/floss. Approximatly 5 1/4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches high/wide (plus 1 3/4 inch long ribbons). Approximatly 13 1/4 centimeters long by 5 1/2 centimeters high/wide (plus 3 1/2 centimeter long ribbons). |
