Never Seen the Light of Day
(This is 4 pages long in Microsoft Word...beware)

Never seen the light of day
Lost in the blackened heart
Withering and wilting,
Blood seeping poison
And hatred
Of being
Of life
Of them
Of those who sit and stare
Not caring or feeling
Moving to a new life
Bitter acid
Rancid and caustic
Biting through the happiness
Chewing out your heart
Peeling your skin from your bones and
Leaving it
Where it won't be felt
Swirling black sky
Beckons
A light of clawing agony
Piercing the sky and your mind
Pulling you forward into
Red horizons
Blood seeping over mountains
Dripping down fields
Pooling in your backyard
Congealing and sticky in the midday sun
Attaching itself to you and your love
Heart's call to those who fight
Pulling them once more into the grass
To run and die amid the roses
Cawing with selfish delight
At the shiny pennies lying in the dirt
Gravel spit across existence
Tearing through paper windows
Everlasting sun and pain
Fire climbing to the sky
Falling and spilling over te mountains
Licking friend and foe alike
Singeing fields of grass
Leaving tounges and diamonds
Spread across the driveway
Holes sinking into oblivion
Holes you can never get around
Pillars of stone and slavery
Standing erect amid the ruins
Aimlessly tilting and crashing
Burning
Shattering and spinning into the ocean
Sinking in the green
Bubbles rising and rising into the clouds
Popping and falling
Falling
Falling
Splats against the sidewalk
Burning and steaming
Sizzling in red
Falling
