Why do you fall for those you can't have?
Is there some unknown power at hand?
It is a force meant to keep us away?
Or is it that people just want love?
Love trancends all, they say.
Love can conquer everything.
But it can't conquer two people who's
Lives are so far apart.
That they will never cross
Unless they choose to pay.
It hurts when one is so far away,
You can't hold them, kiss them,
Hold them and be held in return.
If there is no one closer,
What can you do?
Once you fall you fall hard.
You love them, indeed
You do.
You look for one who's with you
Like them
Who you can touch and love in life.
But that something is missing,
Kills any hope you might have.
Yes that love remains,
As much as you deny it.
It kills, maims.
