Prt. 3 "What?!" exclaimed everyone in the room. "Who are you?" asked Carmen. "My name is Fiona. And I'm a new ACME detective," said Fiona still looking at Carmen with caution. "Fiona, do you what I'm going to do?" asked Carmen. "I perfectly know what you're going to do. You're going to transport to other dimensions so you won't only be the greatest thief here but in other realms and dimensions!" exclaimed Fiona. Everyone was staring at her in shock and admiration because she usually doesn't talk and here she is, facing Carmen. Nobody knew what to do at this time. "What is going to happened if I flip this lever Fiona?" asked Carmen. "I'll tell you what happens. When you flip that lever, another civilization will come. They are like us except that seem to be more friendly and have a less advanced technology. That's what everyone thinks, but when the time's right they will strike and make every living thing on this earth slaves. They are actually far more intelligent and have a far greater technology. For example, they make sure nobody comes out after 9 p.m. If anyone comes out after that, the robot patrol would just kill them. People live underground in fear because of this patrol. They even kill anyone on the surface after 9 p.m," said Fiona with a dead serious tone. Everyone was shock about what she was saying. "How do we know what your saying is true? Where is your proof?" asked Carmen. "Do you all want to know why I knew where all the clues were, the locations of each clue and about what happens in the future? I'll tell you why, I'm actually from the future! 20 years from this time," said Fiona still with her dead serious tone. "How do we know your from the future? You could be just lying or maybe you're insane!" said Ivy looking very puzzled. "Easy, look at this! Has this technology been invented yet?" asked Fiona as she lifted her right arm and she took the skin out! Her arm was actually made out of metal! "What! So that explains why your arm and hands are so cold. You're actually a robot!" said Zack in astonishment. "I'm not robot! I was found after 9 p.m. so the robot patrol wanted to make me suffer. So instead of killing me, they chopped my arm off. The scientist in the underground tunnels, helped me make a new arm, but it's not as good as the real one. He also made a time machine so I volunteered to go. We got a time capsule from a person named Carmen Sandiego who told us what happened to cause the future. But there was also spy from the other dimension here, but we don't know who it is," said Fiona. Her metal arm began to creak. "Anyone got any oil?" asked Fiona very embarrassed. "If what you say is true Fiona then I won't flip the lever. I don't want to make mankind to suffer," said Carmen. The henchmen who Fiona knocked out earlier on woke up and he said to Carmen "ACME detectives! Want me to catch them Carmen?" "No. Let them go this time Roy," said Carmen. "Why aren't you flipping the switch Carmen?" asked Roy. "Because something will happen in the future that I don't want to happen," said Carmen. Suddenly Roy gave Carmen a menacing glare. "Someone obviously told you about our plans but nobody will stop my civilization from taking over this dimension!" shouted Roy as he tried to flip the lever. "You're the spy!!! Stop him if he flips the lever the future will remain the same!" shouted Fiona as she tried to stop Roy. Zack and Tatyanna tried to stop him also but both of them collided with Fiona and Carmen. Roy was free to flip the lever and he did. "NO!!! The future must be changed!" shouted Fiona as she fell to the ground crying. Whirl winds appeared above the twin towers. "Too late!" shouted Roy. "I will not let this happen!" shouted Carmen as she made a dive towards Roy. Both of them were fighting on the floor. Carmen was obviously stronger then Roy. "Ivy, Zack, climb up the roof and take the eye of Odin down it's our only hope! The machine can't shut down once it's turned on!" shouted Carmen as she struggled with Roy. "Ok Carmen! Josha give a boost!" commanded Ivy. Josha gave Ivy a push up to the window. She quickly climbed up to the roof. Zack also climbed out but he was busy cringing on outside wall because he was afraid of heights. Tatyanna climbed up and overtook Zack. She was right behind Ivy. Josha was busy trying to shut the machine down. Fiona got up and she also climbed up the roof. Roy suddenly pushed Carmen away and she fell against the wall unconsciousness. He got up and knocked Josha out. Roy then climbed up to the roof hoping to stop Ivy and the rest of the detectives. Ivy was successful in the climb and she was about to take the eye of Odin when Roy grabbed her hand. "What! But you were down there? How did you?" asked Ivy surprised. "Easy, take the stairs," said Roy saracasticly. "You aren't getting away Roy!" shouted Ivy as she did a low kick towards Roy's ankle. "I all ready have," said Roy as he avoided the attack. Ivy was at arms with Roy. "Tatyanna, get the eye of Odin!" shouted Ivy as she tried to push Roy away. "Ok, Ivy," said Tatyanna. A moment later, as she grabbed it. "I got it!" A second later, she began to slipped off the roof and cried out for help. "Tatyanna!" exclaimed Zack as he got up and grabbed her hand but he also slipped. Quickly Fiona grabbed Zack's hand. "I got you Zack, Tatyanna," said Fiona as she was pulling them up. Ivy and Roy were still at arms but Roy pushed Ivy away. He ran at Fiona and pushed her off the roof. Luckily for Fiona, she managed to grabbed part of the roof. "This looks very familiar doesn't it Fiona?" asked Zack. "I know. Help! I can't hold much longer!" shouted Fiona in pain. "You're not going to have to!" said Roy as he was stepping on her hand. "Hold on Fiona!" said Ivy as she tried to kick Roy off but Roy caught her arm and she fell of the roof. She quickly caught Tatyanna's foot. "How nice all four detectives hanging on to each other," said Roy as he begin to step on Fiona's arm. "Gee," he said sarcastically, "I wonder what will happen if I step on this arm." "Nothing will!" shouted Carmen. She was standing on the ledge and she shot her grappling hook to the roof and climbed up. She shot her glue gun towards Roy, pinning him to the ground. She then grabbed Fiona's arm and pulled the detectives to safety. "Thanks. We owe you one," said Ivy. "As I do I," Carmen replied smiling towards Fiona. "Thanks to you, we saved all of mankind," said Carmen as her blimp hovered over and she climbed up the ladder to her blimp. "Well we could have caught her," said Zack. "Let it go Zack. She helped save mankind their freedom. I guess that's why we can let her go for now," said Ivy. ********************* A week later*************** "Are you sure Fiona? You want to go?" asked Ivy. "Sure. I miss my own time. I wonder what it'll be like now. Look! My arm is back to normal. Flesh and blood of course. Anyway I'm taking the eye of Odin back with me for safe keeping." said Fiona happily that she could feel with her right arm again. "It was a nice tour you gave me of the past world. At least now I can score for my history!" said Fiona. "Bye!" and she disappeared in a bright flash. "I wonder if we will ever see her again little bro," said Ivy. "Time will tell sis, time will tell," said Zack. Suddenly a bright flash appeared. "Help Zack, Ivy something has happened to the future! Something bad!" said Fiona.
