She married Marmaduke Fortune, son of Richard Fortune and Malsey Cribb, on August 30, 1883 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Marmaduke was born on January 1, 1862 in Rose Hill, Alabama. Sarah Frances died on May 10, 1950 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. They had eight children: John Murray Fortune was born on April 4, 1885 in Florida. He married Mary Elizabeth Farrington on February 9, 1911. Mary was born on Februaru 22, 1891 in Santa Rosa County, Florida to William Henry Farrington, Jr. and Melissa Barnes. They had two children: Luther and Lula Gertrude. Luther was born on December 5, 1911 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. John died April 1, 1935 in Milton, Florida. Mary died in December 1985. Luther was married on September 8, 1934 to unknown spouse. He died on February 28, 1998 in Pensacola, Florida. His last known residence was in Milton, Florida. James Monroe Fortune was born on November 18, 1891. He married Pearcie Lula (Lucy) Farrington. Pearcie was born on October 27, 1899 in Milton, Florida to Charles Franklin Farrington and Martha Ann Allen. James and Pearcie had six children: Trammell (Born 1918), Claudell, Hazel (Born 1924), Erma Lucille (Born 1927), Sherman Francis (Born 1920), Curtis (Born 1922), Charles (Born 1930). Pearcie died December 14, 1930 in Milton, Florida. James died January 9, 1979 in Santa Rosa County, Florida and was buried in Welcome Cemetery. Richard Edward Fortune was born on March 13, 1894. Richard was a civil service employee in Pensacola, Florida. He was a member of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church. He was listed on the Okaloosa County, Florida 1917-1918 Civilian Draft Registration. He died on August 24, 1978 and was buried in Hickory Hammock Cemetery in Milton, Florida. Marion Allen Fortune was born on August 23, 1896. He married Eunice. They had three children: Johnny, Jerry, Jackie. Marion was a school teacher and served on the school board. Marion died in August 1973 in Pensacola, Florida and was buried in Ebeneezer Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Florida . Perry Leon Fortune was born on May 9, 1898 in Florida. He married Nora Adeline Lowery on January 29, 1929. Nora was born on February 18, 1911. Her first marriage was to George Emmanuel Faulk. Nora died in October 1985. Perry and Nora had four children: Edmund, Mary Dell, Betty Jo (Died March 1, 1992), and Margery. Perry died November 19, 1987 in Milton, Florida. He was buried in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Milton, Florida. Sarah Lou Vannie Fortune was born on February 23, 1911 in Holt, Florida. She married a gentlemen named Booker. They had four children: Millard Booker, Jimmie Booker, Nubbie Booker, and Debbie Booker. She died on November 23, 1988 in Pensacola, Florida and was buried in Clopton Cemetery. Della Mae Fortune married a Buckley Thomas Jefferson Fortune married Lydia Elizabeth Lowery, daughter of George Lowery and Mary Bishop on April 4, 1924. Lydia was born October 30, 1902 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. They had four children: Ralph, James Cleveland, Ruth, Naomi. Ralph was born in 1927.
