Things were calm again. Jia was dealing with the remains of Hong Kong, tying up loose ends, taking calls from lower heads taking charge there. Every now and then, he and Tai would go over to Hong Kong to check up on things but they would come back within a few days. After everything was said and done, Jia said what all yakuza working hard for six months straight wanna hear.

"Time for a celebration."

And a celebration we needed indeed. With the Yami in New York meant Toki didn't have to worry and my own toy was still in New York which meant I had no one to do. But there was not a lack of eye candy. Toshimasa and the China Doll were invited along with the flows of women. A bunch of yakuza as Tai once said to me, who were a group of hot blooded men, which I think he meant hormoned filled and would fuck anything, in a room with open women and pretty boys. The parties in New York were usually better since Takeo knew people and hand only the prettiest boys and girls lounging around but this wasn't bad either.

All I did that night was start to drink. I had a cigarette in my hand, a bottle of beer or some other kind of liquor in my hand. I watched as Aoki, Toki and Akio all sat with each other, visually raping anything that looked good and walked past them. Those three were...frightening and I saw myself connected to all three of them either by blood or sexual contact. That bothered me a lot. Anyway I chilled with Hisoka as we both watched the party go on. We shared small talk and when he was distracted or I was, I went to get another drink. I had come a long way from falling dizzy from two cups of sake when I was eighteen. I could now down more then half a bottle of sake before even getting dizzy. I eventually went to join Jia as he sat down at his table, having a cigarette as glasses were all over the place. Toshimasa and the China Doll sat on opposite ends of the table, Tai between Jia and the China Doll while Toshimasa sat with his hands on the table, a cigarette between his slender fingers as his cane rested close to him. I sat down as Jun sat on the other side of Toshimasa, a drink in his hands as he drank from it every now and then. Jia offered me a seat as there was small talk exchanged, Jun would get up every now and then and disappear and come back later with a smug look on his face. I would shake my head, knowing exactly where he was going. Jia didn't get up much, he only did if anything, just to stretch and then get a drink, though usually someone got that for him. I knocked back my own drink as I admired the China Doll for a while, then Toshimasa, looking back on each of them as they talked. Xiao Tien said,

"So where is your guard tonight Jia?"

"Fucking around here somewhere. No pun intended."

We laughed slightly as Toshimasa said,

"Why is when walking by those three you suddenly feel violated?"

Jia looked over to the side as he saw Akio, Aoki and Toki standing near a wall. It was almost a cloud of smoke over there.

"Ah, the trio. At their sexual best when together."

The China Doll shook his head, smoothing back that flow of black hair as he said,

"Always nice to have at least three of them like that."

Jia laughed as he said,

"Hey don't let that adorable face fool you. He's well on his way."

He pointed to me as they looked at me and Toshimasa said,

"Aw, Jia you can't be serious."

"It's an adorable face that's it."

"Damn Jia, playing me out in front of everyone." I said with a laugh.

Tai and Jia laughed too as Toshimasa said,

"Is it true?"

"No, I'm not in the same league as all the rest of them."

I made a sweep of my hand near Jun, Jia and Tai. Tai laughed slightly as he said,

"I'm not in any league."

"Tai's so modest." Said Jia.

Jun shook his head as I said,

"I'm okay."

Jia laughed as he said,

"He says he's okay when he gets up to fuck a girl that just looked at him and she was ready to drop her panties once he got up."

We laughed again as Jun dismissed it and Jia said,

"You two are eye candy though."

I nodded as he said,

"It's the only reason we call you the China Doll."

Toshimasa laughed, shaking his head as he said,

"Me? I doubt that highly now that I'm a gimp."

"Still a pretty one though." Said Jia.

The China Doll looked over a Jia as he said,

"Just eye candy for you Jia-sama?"

Jia smirked as he said,

"You're just determined to get me in trouble aren't you?"

Xiao Tien laughed as I then saw Hisoka was back from one of his many trips to the bathroom. I got up as I excused myself and went back to my conversation with Hisoka.

Somewhere near the early hours, I ended up standing next to Hisoka as he talked to Akio. Aoki and Toki weren't that far behind and since I didn't have much to say and I was half way drunk anyway, I just stood there silently. My throat was starting to hurt smoking so much and I was out of cigarettes. I had to keep getting one off people I saw smoking. Lucky for me, a lot of people smoked around here. Anyway after Toki started sliding down the wall when he leaned against it and Aoki had to pick him up, Akio turned and said,

"Shit it's late."

Hisoka looked over as he said,

"How do you?"

"Toki's drunk enough to show it."

Aoki grabbed Toki's hands as he pulled him up to stand on his feet again as he said,

"Toki, you somewhat conscious?"

Toki raised his hand, waving it slightly as he said,

"Had a little too much drink."

He slurred his words as he looked at Aoki with heavy lidded eyes. Aoki shook his head as he said,

"Akio watch him for a second. Imma go find Jia."

Akio nodded as Aoki left. Akio then said,

"What about you Jo, you sober?"

"Not enough to drive."

He laughed as Toki started slouching back against the wall and said,

"Oh shit...my head hurts."

Akio turned as he saw Toki holding his head. Akio shrugged as he as he said,

"He'll be fine. He gets whiner when he's drunk."

"You drunk yet Akio?" Said Hisoka.

"Nah, I didn't drink too much. I know when to stop."

A moment later, Aya joined us as he looked at Akio and said,

"I thought Aoki would be with you two."

"Oh he was. He just went to get Jia for that one."

He gestured to Toki was still having a hard time staying on his feet and slouched down every now and then. Eventually he fell to the floor as he laughed at himself and then yawned. Aya then said,

"Must be late."

"You drunk Pretty Aya?" Asked Akio.

"A little. Not that badly though."

We laughed as Aoki came back with Jia. Jia then sighed as he said,

"Why is he asleep?"

We looked down at Toki, who was sitting on the floor, his head back against the wall, his knees drawn up, his arms laying beside him, his eyes shut as he slept soundly. Aoki sighed as he smacked Akio on his arm and said,

"I told you to watch him."

"I was watching him!"

"Then why is he on the floor?"

"Damned if I know."

Aoki shook his head as Jia then said,

"Don't worry about it, he's out cold. Getting him to wake up would be useless."

"I'll get him Jia."

"Just pick him up. I'll get him."

"No, it's okay. I got him."

It signified the end of the party. I helped Aoki pick up Toki since he was heavier when he was knocked out and not helping. Aoki then turned and knelt down slightly as he picked up Toki on his back and carried him out as Aya followed. The rest of us started leaving as well as everyone began to thin out. Once outside, Jia held Toki's coat as he thanked Toshimasa and Xiao Tien for coming and that he would be in contact with them soon. After that, Jia got in a cab as he helped Aoki take Toki off his back as they left. Aya then leaned his head on Aoki as Akio then rubbed his side a little and said,

"Long night."

"Long nothing. It's done."

Aoki looked at his watch as Aya said,

"I'm so tired."

Aoki looked over at him as he put his arm around him as he said,

"Time to go home then."

We were joined by some of the other top heads as we started hailing cabs to get home. Jun left first after saying bye to us, then Hisoka, who had helped me with Toki and Aoki. Mikkie started walking towards the subway after a quick wave and then Gabriel left a few moments later. Aya yawned suddenly as we waited for another cab to show up. He reached up to Aoki's coat lapel and leaned his head on his chest as he held onto him. He then said,

"Aoki...."

Aoki looked at him as Aya said,

"Pet me."

I laughed slightly as Akio laughed aloud. Tai just cleared his throat and looked away as Aoki then said,

"When we get back to your place."

Aya looked content as I shook my head and then saw another cab coming. I decided to let them have it as I said bye to them and went towards the subway myself. I didn't live too far from there anyway. I would be fine.

I slept in the next day. I had a bitch of a hangover anyway so I did my best to stay still and get up only when I had to. And only when I had to. My head hurt too much so I tried not jolting myself into doing anything unless I really, really had to. Later that night, I did get up, but only to shower and take some aspirin to totally rid myself of the headache. Then as I sat down in front of my TV, a cigarette in my hand though my throat still hurt and felt incredibly dry, my cell phone rang. I did my best to swallow some water as I answered the phone.

"Hai."

"Hey Jo."

"Hey Hisoka. What's going on?"

"You sound terrible. You okay?"

"My throat's just dry. What's up?"

"You wanna get some dinner?"

"Sure. Where at?"

"Oh, listen..."

His voice got quiet as he said,

"Remember that female I told you about I was..."

"Fucking?"

"Yeah. What about her?"

"She's got a friend with her."

"Do not set me up Hisoka. I got a toy already and my toy won't give me drama later."

He laughed as he said,

"No, I'm not setting you up. I just thought you might wanna have a Tokyo toy."

"True...okay. Where should I meet you guys?"

"At Kisso. In the Roppongi District."

"Yeah I know where that is. I'll be there soon."

I hung up as I went to get ready. After a quick shower and a change of clothes, I was out the door and went to meet Hisoka at Kisso. It was a brief dinner and I didn't like the female that Hisoka's toy had brought with her. She was too damn shy. Shyness is only cute on cute boys. So I barely paid any attention to her, had a drink and once we were done, I told Hisoka I would call him later and then left.

My night turned out to be disappointing. Without much of anything to do, no enemies, no work, nothing else, I went back home. The next morning, I stayed asleep until noon when my phone rang again. I picked up as I heard Jia on the other end.

"You watching TV?"

"Uh...no. Should I be?"

"Yeah."

I got up from my bed and went to the living room as I turned on the TV and said,

"Any channel I should be on?"

"Look for something about the upcoming elections to the heads of the Diet."

"Okay."

I flipped around for a while until I saw some of the candidates making speeches.

"I found something."

"You see that bullshit?"

"I just started watching."

"The guy's name is Kemuri Tejina. He's one of the new candidates."

"So? What's that got to do with anything Jia?"

"So Jo, we have these political bastards in our pockets. Aya and I long ago fucked up things so badly in the Diet we could get crooked men and then pay them to get away from us. Now, all our crooked partners in crime have been put up for election and this new one you're looking at, he's not one of ours and what sucks is that majority seems to be voting for him."

"So what happens if he's elected?"

"We get stuck with shit I dealt with long ago."

"Would he try to take you down?"

"Yeah he would. And I can't have this political shit again."

"You dealt with this before right?"

"Yeah so I know just how to make it stop before it gets worse."
