Part 120- Forced Mouth

Three days passed and as Jun said, after those three days, Yasuhiro woke up. He was disorientated and he had an audience as we watched him stir. Jia stood close to the small couch as Jun stood beside him. The rest of us circled the area as we watched him wake. When he did, he turned from his uninjured side as he gazed up at us as he softly said,

"Where am I?"

"Don't worry about that." Said Jia. He put out his cigarette as he stepped closer and said,

"You are in a lot of trouble."

"Not as much as you."

Jia laughed slightly as he said,

"You threatening me?"

"No, I don't need to. I have another half who would kill to find me."

Jia nodded as he swept his hair back as he said,

"You're not safe you know. You wanna walk away with your life, you better start talking."

"I would never sell my brother out. You might as well let me die."

Jia nodded as he said,

"Okay. We'll do that then. Jun, let him die. We'll find his brother sooner or later."

We all began to leave.

As we worked over the next few days, looking for Toshihiro, we heard Yasuhiro's wails of pain coming from downstairs anytime we neared the door to the basement. It was a horrible sound since he was really dying. Jia didn't care. He left him there to die as we searched out for Toshihiro. Jia's plan was to nearly kill Yasuhiro and make Toshihiro come out from where ever he was hiding. When Yasuhiro passed out from pain, Jun tended to him, checking that his wounds weren't infected and he would give him sedatives to make him quiet. Finally after one month, three weeks, four days of this, Toshihiro finally emerged from hiding to make a move. I was at home at the time, sleeping soundly, hugging my pillow as I slept. I was still dressed from earlier, my pants and shirt on, my shoes by my bed, my coat at the foot of my bed, my .38 caliber on my night stand and my phone, on the charger, near my hand. I slept for only about three hours. I didn't have a chance to sleep anymore because I had been working all that time before. Sleep became a luxury for me now. I was sound asleep when my phone rang. I reached over and grabbed my cell phone, turning it on as I said,

"Yeah..."

"Jo..."

"Hm?"

"You said to call if anything happened."

"And?"

"Something happened."

I sat up as I pulled my hair back and said,

"What happened Ichiro?"

"One of the twins came to my place."

"Oh shit are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Everyone is fine. I got him before he did anything."

"I'll call Jia and everyone else. I'm on my way."

We hung up as I got my things and left as I then called Jia, Jun, Akio and Mikkie and we all headed over there. I got there first as Ichiro answered the door. He held Katie in his arms as he welcomed me inside. I then saw Toshihiro locked outside on the balcony but he was out cold anyway. I then said,

"You dragged him out there?"

"Yeah. I didn't want to risk him waking up with Katie awake now."

I saw there had been a fight, but a brief one. Katie was scared awake when she heard noise probably and she clung to Ichiro as he carried her. I then said,

"You sure you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. Did you call Jia?"

"Yeah, everyone is on their way."

Ichiro sat down with Katie as he stroked her back and hair, soothing her to go to sleep again. After a few minutes, Jia and Toki arrived with Jun. Akio and Mikkie came a few minutes after that. Ichiro explained how he had just gotten home when Toshihiro tried to take him out. Something was off about him since he was suppost to be a professional. They fought and then Ichiro managed to knock him out. He dragged him outside and left him there since he didn't want him waking up since his niece was around. Jun went to see if he was alive still as Jia said,

"You sure you're fine?"

"I'm fine."

"Your niece okay?"

"She's a little scared for me but that's it."

Katie picked her head up as she turned and looked at everyone who was standing there. She saw Toki had a cigarette in his mouth and was about to light it and she said,

"No smoking in the house."

Toki gave the kid a "are you out of your mind" look and was about to say something as Jia reached up and took the cigarette out of Toki's mouth. He then said,

"You heard the kid."

Toki grumbled as Jun came back in and said,

"He's alive. Just out."

"Let's take him to his brother. See if we can't get any information out of the two."

Akio and Mikkie went to pick up the small, perfect uke as Jia stayed behind to talk to Ichiro for a moment. Once we were done, we left, taking the small problem with us.

Jun had previously pumped Yasuhiro full of sedatives to knock him out. Now we had them both and both problems could come to a halt if we could just get some information out of them. I sat down in the basement with them both since they were both knocked out. Jia and everyone else was upstairs, making some sort of preparations. I wasn't too sure about what was going on but, I had to stay and find out anyway. A few moments later, Aoki and Toki followed Jia downstairs. I stood up just as Yasuhiro groaned and started to regain consciousness. Aoki went over and picked up Toshihiro and set him on a chair, taking his arms and pulling them behind the chair. He either snapped handcuffs to keep him in place or tied his wrists, I wasn't sure. Aoki then picked up electric tape from the able not too far away, stretched out a piece then tore it from with his teeth as he then leaned down in front of Toshihiro and placed it over his mouth. Yasuhiro looked over at me and then Jia as he said,

"What do you want?"

"I came to give you one more chance."

"How kind of you."

"Before you say anything else, I'd like you to know one thing."

"What's that?"

"I have motivation for you this time."

He gestured towards Aoki as he stepped back and showed his twin now sitting on the chair. Yasuhiro started to sit up, but fell back down from pain.

"You...you..."

"If you're going to insult me, make it quick and original."

"If you do anything to my brother I'll-"

"You'll what? Go ahead. Don't stutter."

Yasuhiro gritted his teeth. Jia smirked as he said,

"Talk. Tell me who you work for. It's all I ask of you."

"I can't tell you."

"You can't or won't?"

"I fucking hate you!"

"You're not the first."

"This is a matter of honor! You don't have any do you!?"

"Honor? This is a matter of money for you and don't forget it. And I have honor. But only where it counts."

Yasuhiro stayed quiet. Jia then nodded and said,

"Okay. I see. I can't get you to talk. Aoki, Toki, see if you can't get him to loosen his tongue. Jo, learn something from this."

I nodded as Jia turned and went back upstairs. I looked at Aoki who shrugged off his coat and tossed it to Toki. He undid the cuff of his button down shirt as he rolled up the sleeves and then went over to Jun's medical supply table and picked up a scalpel. He brought it back as Yasuhiro watched intently, unable to do anything but watch. Aoki stood behind Toshihiro and grabbed his hair, yanking it back as the small uke's head went with it, exposing his throat. Toki then said,

"He'll do it. All you gotta do is talk."

Yasuhiro glared at Toki as he said,

"I...can't."

"Maybe he can then."

Aoki took the exactly sharpened blade and ran it down the front of the shirt. He made a quick, fine cut down the front of Toshihiro's body as he then made a quick slice back up. Bright red blood began sliding from the wound as Toshihiro began waking up. Yasuhiro began panicking and tried to sit up, despite his wound. Toki laid him back down as he said,

"Relax. He barely started."

Aoki was quick, this torture went on for another ten minutes as Aoki delivered fine cut after fine cut. Each opening of his skin was so swift it wouldn't hurt until a few moments afterwards. Toshihiro couldn't scream. His mouth was taped shut. Before Aoki stopped, Toshihiro was already forming a puddle of blood around the chair. Yasuhiro then said,

"Why is it so important to know who we were employed by?"

"It's a matter of finding out who's out to get us." Said Aoki.

Toki then knelt down beside the couch as he said,

"You better talk because he aint nowhere near being done yet."

And Aoki wasn't finished. It only took Toshihiro to loose a single finger before Yasuhiro finally said,

"Stop! I'll talk...I'll talk."

Toki smirked as he looked at Aoki. Aoki had a satisfied look on his face as he said,

"You should get Jia."

"Yeah, Jo go get Li for me."

I went back upstairs and saw Jia sitting at the lobby speaking with Tai. I apologized for interrupting as I bowed my head and said,

"Jia, excuse me for interrupting but Yasuhiro is ready to talk."

"I was waiting for that. Tai excuse me for a moment."

He got up as I walked Jia downstairs to the basement again. Toki said,

"He's ready."

"About time. So go on Yasuhiro."

"What happens when I do talk? You gonna kill us?"

"It depends."

"On what?"

"On what you can do for me."

"What do you want?"

After you talk, you take your brother and you stay here in New York. You come back to haunt me in any way, shape or form and I will not be so generous next time."

Yasuhiro nodded as he said,

"We were employed by someone....we think you may know him."

"Who?"

"Someone named Kenimin."

Jia raised an eyebrow as he said,

"Wait...Kenimin? All the Kenimin's are dead."

"There's two alive Jia." I said.

Jia looked at me as he then said,

"True...Jia then thought for a moment as he said,

"I need to get a hold of Stephen."

I said I would call Sozaburo since he had the contacts in California. Jia then called Jun to check on the twins as Toki and Aoki went back upstairs with Jia and myself. Once I told Sozaburo what happened, he said he would call California and see what was going on.

What Kenimin where left to settle a score with Jia? I wasn't sure of that myself and Jia was left more confused then ever. The last two we had settled scores with anyway. Stephen didn't want to lead his father's empire onwards and Lotus had her devotion to Jia so...why? Tai suspected maybe someone was using their name. But Toki just out right said,

"A bitter bitch is worse then any shit a man can come up with."

Jia looked at him as he said,

"You think Lotus would do this?"

"Stephen wouldn't. He left behind all that shit. And when was the last time Sozaburo said anything about him makin mayhem in Cali?"

Jia thought about it. He knew Toki was right. I still couldn't believe it. Lotus who had far too much devotion and care for Jia, even when he moved her aside? I couldn't see it. Jia had a hard time seeing that too. But we couldn't rule it out. So we had to find out if Toki was right or not.
