| POST NUCLEAR WAR Many movie directors have tried to describe post-nuclear war state of our planet. In Terminator, some horrible event happened and somehow robots took over the control of the world. Many think this kind of big incident would be a nuclear war but it could be anything but nuclear war. In Water World, Kevin Costner acts as a mutant who has gills and webs between his toes. Yeah, this kind of mutation is most likely to occur by the effect of radiation. However, viruses, chemicals and anything else we can imagine can cause mutations and alter this world profoundly enough if misused. In the Bible something called sin altered Adam and Eve��s world profoundly enough. Now we call it the original sin, eating the forbidden fruit against the Lord��s Will. Before the incident of the original sin they were not supposed to die or get sick. It must have been a perfect system. Humans were integrated perfectly into the environment (nature). Even it was not necessary to control the body temperature by wearing clothes. Everything was so natural that it was impossible for them to feel shame. But one day something happened. Something called original sin happened. Some tremendous incident that could alter everything just as nuclear bombs did in those movies happened. Probably more tragic than nuclear war. This event has affected whole system of universe or existence as well as this planet. So we think we are not mutants but we are. We are contaminated with sin. A defect in our genes cause Diabetics, Albinism, skin cancer, ��you just name it. Gene Therapy means mending these defects in those genes. UV did not cause skin cancer by altering genes of our skin in the perfect system called Eden. It��s obvious that one or more than one alterations in our genes, which made us mortal have occurred. The Creator who liked order created rules for His creatures. Things fall down by gravity. The earth travels around the sun spinning. Men like women. Women like men. The day was divided into day and night. Human communicate with the Creator face to face. But someone who loved chaos and hated order had to break this order God created. He could not endure seeing everything running orderly. He just could not help himself but attempting to bring the world back to chaos. Imagine. What if The Lord has written this kind a concept in this way using the terms like genes, mutation, radiation, virus, chemicals and nuclear war? What if The Lord has tried to describe something like the post nuclear war world in movies? Who would have understood the incident that separated humans from God? This might be the reason why the Creator plans to reset this world and install a New Jerusalem when He is coming back. And The Creator so loved His creation and sent His Only Son Jesus to save us before He resets this contaminated system. |
