| The world has always revolved around the hunter and the prey. Many ancient scrolls make mention of a race of being that is thought to be the project of a drug-induced delusion, pure fantasy or myth. The object of many a scholar's scorn is a race known as the Tigriat or also called Catmen by the typical layman. These powerful creatures can average five to eight feet in height with colorations that cover most of the normal humanoid variations. The Tigriat display many of the traditional racial qualities that hint to a direct relationship with the 'big cats' that live in various parts of the world. Upon first encountering the tigriat, its appearance is often disturbing and very much alien. They possess the slit pupils, small feline ears and a coat of short soft |

| fur that covers most of their bodies. They walk upright without difficulty and their incredible balance is enhanced by the natural stability of a tail. Sages often state that the Tigriat was an attempted experiment to breed the best qualities of a natural predator and the intelligence of a free-thinking humanoid. The agressive nature of a Tigriat makes them excellent warriors, however it is their natural speed and balance that enable them to master the skill required to succeed as a hunter and/or thief. The following is considered an accurate report on the skills and abilities of the Tigriat race: Due to the genetic design of their eyes, the typical Tigriat has excellent eyesight. This trait enables them to see normally in near-darkness and detect objects and creatures that would be hidden to the eyes of a normal human. One small limitation worth noting, the Tigriat cannot swim very well and often drown while attempting to cross any large bodies of water. |
