Shadows are humans who have traded their souls for the ability to be a shadow. While still retaining the shape and abilities of a human, they have grown in power by joining with the underworld. Because they draw power from the Planes of Shadow, shadows are very intelligent and extremely agile. Shadows can manipulate their bodies so that they can pass through doors and other physical barriers. Because of their ethereal nature, certain transportation spells are inherant to the race of shadows, as is hiding, making their bodies seem numerous, and dodging. Shadows make excellent thieves and mages. |
